Reading Progress: We track which Quran verses and surahs you've read to calculate hasanat (good deeds) and maintain your reading progress. This data is stored locally on your device.

App Preferences: Your settings, theme choices, language preferences, and notification settings are stored locally on your device.

Profile Information: If you create an account, we store your name, username, and recovery code locally on your device.

2. What We DO NOT Collect

• We do not sell your data to third parties
• We do not use advertising trackers for personal data
• We do not share your personal information with third parties
• We do not store sensitive religious information on external servers

3. Analytics & Crash Reporting

PostHog Analytics: We use PostHog for anonymous usage analytics to understand how users interact with the app and improve the experience. This data is anonymized and does not include personally identifiable information.

Sentry Crash Reporting: We use Sentry to monitor app crashes and errors to improve stability. Crash reports may include device information and error logs but do not include personal data.

4. Data Storage

All your personal data, including location, reading progress, and preferences, is stored locally on your device. We use secure storage methods to protect sensitive information like your location data.

5. Your Rights

Data Export: You can export all your data from the Settings screen. This includes your reading progress, preferences, and all app data.

Data Deletion: You can delete all your data from the Settings screen. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

Opt-Out: You can disable analytics and crash reporting in the app settings.

6. Children's Privacy

Salah Hub is designed for users of all ages, including children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. All data is stored locally on the device, and we do not require account creation for basic app functionality.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
